Hi, I’m Crissy Collins—and I get it. I know what it’s like to build something from scratch, to bet on yourself, and to lose sleep wondering if this whole “business ownership” thing is going to work out.

Over a decade ago, my husband Zach and I launched our first HVAC company with exactly zero startup capital—just a whole lot of grit, late nights, and sheer determination. Slowly but surely, that little operation grew into a multi-state business with over 70 employees. And after years of sweat and sacrifice, we sold it.

Was it easy? Nope.
Was it worth it? Absolutely.
Was it emotional and overwhelming? Oh yeah.

That experience shaped who I am—not just as an entrepreneur, but as a person. And when it came time to sell, I realized something big: I needed someone in my corner who really understood what I was going through. Someone who respected what I built, and could help me navigate the exit without all the mystery and confusion. I didn’t have that. So, I became that.

Today, I’m a Business Broker with Sunbelt Business Brokers in Jacksonville, and I bring my full journey to the table—startup to scale to sale (and then startup all over again here in Florida). I’ve lived the full lifecycle of owning a business. I know what it feels like to wonder if revenue will cover payroll. I know how hard it is to choose between another work call or being home for bedtime stories.
